A Report on the Application of Developed Quality Control Material to the External quality Assessment Scheme in Korea

Abstract

|
This is a report on the application of the developed lyophilized control serum as the extermal quality control materials. Lyophilized control serum were prepared and the homogeneity and the stability during the storage at various temperature were
examined. After the stability test, two batches of developed control serum were distributed to 270 laboratories participating External Quality Assessement in Clinical Chemistry in Korea. The mean CV values of KRISS Quality Assessement in Clinical
Chemistry in Korea. The mean CV values of KRISS NOR and KRISS ABN for 14 components except enzymes were 7.4% each which are acceptible values for the prepared quality control serum as an external quality control materials.
